I have ASL 7.2 installed and trying to setup a mail server in our local network.
We have one static ip which is assigned on the external interface of astaro and the mail server has from our LAN address (10.x.x.x).
I have tried both ways:
1. DNAT of smtp from external address to the ip of the mail server. Packet filter rule created and mx record pointing at our static ip.
2. Disabled all the above and enabled smtp proxy and defining the domain (example.com) and the internal mail server.
In both cases: i can send mails without any problem, but i can't accept mail from outside. Also, when i'm telneting the static ip on port 25, i get a timeout and in the packet filter log not showing anything about port 25.
Am i missing something? Any suggestions?
