I have made Blackhole routes for most of the IP Ranges for Asia and some other areas. Should packets from this area be dropped before they make it to the packet filter, or are any responses my servers would send just going to be blackholed? I have seen packets from some of the IP ranges being Dropped in the packet filter under the Default Drop Rule. I was under the impression they shouldn't even make it that far. Thanks.
