Who uses the Internet connection complete?

Hello,
we use a ASL 7.104.
The LAN is allowed to use some things like Skype, ftp etc.
HTTP Proxy is used (transparent).
The LAN is masqueraded. I do not use QOS rules.
The last hour the interet line (download) was fully used.
Traceroute had bad results. I'm now looking on the ASL Webinterface
but I do not know how to find out the client IP and/or Port that had
so much traffic.
Could someone give me a tip how to find out?

For me, it helped to install iftop. Search via google for a downloadlink of iftop-0.17-64.i586.rpm. Open an ssh connection to your astaro and download the paket via wget. After that, install it with rpm -i iftop-0.17-64.i586.rpm.
Start iftop like that: iftop -i eth0 -B. After that, press b, then t and 1. That will allow you to have a simple view on it.
You should then be able to watch which person uses all your bandwidth.

It's simpler than that... if you have Network Accounting enabled, go to Reporting/Network usage... you can sort and query all the information you should need to know about the traffic running through your Astaro.

Hello BrucekConvergent,
I see the Reporting/Network usage.
But I can filter only on daily base, not hourly, right?
I do not see if traffic is outgoing or incoming.
But thanks for your answer.

Just hit the IP (Reporting/Network Usage/Accounting/) and you will get more detailed information...
