Flash Embedded Player Loading Slowly

I recently installed the Astaro Gateway V7 on a pc and am using it as my firewall in my home to test it out for a client.

I have found that flash players on sites are loading slower. This is the player that you create in Flash that is a swf file playing an flv file.

Anyone else having this experience. Is there a way I can open a port on the firewall to stop this from occurring. It is literally taking sometimes 20 seconds to load rather than 2.

I'm posting this here in hopes that there is an easy answer.[:D]

update:
I just took the Astaro Gateway Computer off my network to check to see if that was what was causing it. Sure enough, the videos are loading in 2 seconds rather than 20.

Any ideas?

    Hi,
    please describe what proxies if any you are using and in what mode.
    Also what your packet filter rules you have in place.

    I expect it will be caused by the proxy and virus scanning. If you setup the source as a proxy bypass, setup a packet filter rule. For extra details I recommend reading the manual that is embed in the ASG.

    I don't have any proxies setup that I know of.

    I just did the setup wizard to set up my ASG. I just have the regular firewall setup.

    I have the default ports open. I also opened a port for FTP.

    I did turn of intrusion protection to see if that was what was slowing it down.

    revise that, I'm looking at the dashboard and I have the HTTP Proxy active

    anti-virus is active for protocols HTTP

    anti-Spyware is also active.
