2 WAN connections

Hi all

I have 2 WAN connections. 

One is ADSL and the other is Leased Line.

The following is what I try to achieve.

1. ADSL for bulk traffic (HTTP, FTP, DNS....).

2. LL for destination port 2823 to remote server and VPN L2TP from road warriors.

Is this a possible setup?

    Yes. You need to use policy routing to do so.

    Please have a look at this:

    You can setup up 4 Policy if you don't want to use any as service and create own Services where the Sourceport is the port of your service you want to route (exp: VPN L2TP 2823) and the destination port everything from 1024-65535.

    Route Type:                       Gateway Route
    Source Interface:                 Any
    Source Network:                   Your WAN #2 IP
    Service:                          Any
    Destination:                      Any
    Gateway:                          Your WAN #2 Gateway


    Just to clarify;



    Does WAN2 IP and WAN2 Gateway IP address need to be different?


    My WAN2 IP is assigned by my ISP and I have only a bridged ADSL modem between the WAN2 nic and the ISP. So would this configuration be possible in this case?
