blocking aim and google talk

Hi,

I have rules setup that block IM and Google Talk.

However, I have found that if you login into AOL mail or Gmail, you can chat
within the mail application.

Besides blocking complete access to these sites, is there anyway to block chat traffic?

    Gmail has an 'SSL only' option, so if this can be done, it'd have to be done in the https proxy.

    Threatening users goes a long way in corporate networks, and most users don't know how much they're monitored.
