filter on mac address?

I have one MAC address (00:01:5c:23:bd:42) that keeps hitting me from hundreds of different IP addresses externally in different networks. Is there any way I can filter it out (drop it) on the ASG box? It is a majority of the entries in my packet filtering. thanks!

Blocking that MAC address would fix the problem, but would create worse problems for your internet access.
You may want to review how ethernet and mac addresses work.

How so Barry? I know you can spoof mac addresses but this person is using the same one every time...the only thing they're varying is the IP address. I don't even see an option to block mac addresses in the ASG box

You're not getting it...
That MAC belongs to your ISP. Ethernet (MAC) addresses != IP addresses.

Seriously, read up on how ethernet works, and then how IP routing works.

That MAC belongs to your ISP. Ethernet (MAC) addresses != IP addresses.

Seriously, read up on how ethernet works, and then how IP routing works.
