ISPs secondary DNS server as DNS forwarder?

If I check "Use forwarders assigned by ISP," the customer facing IP address of my modem is used for DNS forwarding.  Should my ISPs secondary DNS server be entered as a DNS forwarder or is this effectively accomplished through the IP address of my modem?

    Sounds like your modem is actually a router.
    It would be more efficient to use the ISP directly than to add another layer, but it would work either way.

    If you can configure your modem as a bridge instead of a router, it might make things like NAT easier, btw.
