Mac OS X Users

My Mac users can't seem to login to any secure web pages or subscribe to podcasts via iTunes.  There connections time out.  PC (Windows XP) don't have any problems with same web sites.  

On PCs I've set the proxy settings on the browsers IE and Firefox to the gateway's IP and port 80 when this happened.  On the Mac's I went into network settings for the Ethernet interface and set the same settings on the web proxies.  I've tried the gateway IP and port 443 on "Secure Web Proxy" but neither helped.

    On the Mac's you have to set the account & password for each service (done in the OS level of the Mac.  This has to be done by each protocol that will be going via the proxy.  In regards to the Web Proxy, I would recommend that you change this to something like 1443 so that there is no conflict with Https.  I know that this was a requirement on v6 of the ASG (mainly when you went to access the webadmin gui of the firewall).  While not entirely required under v7, I would still suggest that this be done.
