I have a small question about Skype and Astaro. If I try to launch Skype from one of my clients, Astaro starts over saturating and dropping all other traffic from browsing or even my wireless clients on a separate subnet. It is like it is overwhelmed by dropped packets that it kills everything else. To me, it would make sense that it does that on the ip/client that initiated the communication on all or certain ports. But for all clients across the board is beyond me. Once you start Skype into motion, even the management console is stopped. I can't even log in during that period. I even tested this while being logged in to the console with the live packet filter open. And it does the same, except you see the dropped traffic coming across, but the rest of the GUI is non-op.. Is this some sort of bug with Astaro?? Does not seem to reliable, especially if a client with multiple connections can bring the gateway to its knees....
