[V7.100] Auto-Packet Filter Rule doesn't seems to work

They don't show up there, just like the auto filter for vpn connections.

Those are only user added rules showing in there.

Yeah, they work, they just aren't viewable... too bad they aren't, would make troubleshooting easier, to be sure.

You sure they're working?  I had a DNAT rule with autopacket filter ticked and unsure if it's actually working or not yet.

if you look at the 'live log' in packetfilter you can see if you have any denies. if you have than it's not working...

but not sure since i don't use 'Auto-Packet Filter Rule' because you have no control over it.

The new feature of adding packet filter rules automatically is great, except that they are hidden!  This is sort of like asking a soldier to lay invisible mines in a field.  He'll get the mines placed but won't know where he put them until he steps on one.

Astaro, how about flipping some bits and making these auto-added rules visible.  This would be great!

Sorry Clay... I would have to disagreee... I like the fact that I can automatically make PF rules for my NAT Rules & not have them clutter up my PF section....      Although I see how it would be handy aswell.

Perhaps they could just add to the PF section a toggle to show/hide automaticly generated PF rules (both from NAT's & VPN's?)
