ports open

465 & 587 both open according to www.pcflank.com and grc.com - should i be concerned?

587 is an alternate smtp port; it's fine for it to be open assuming you're running the SMTP proxy.

Googling shows that TCP 465 may be something similar, but the GreatFirewall of the country I am currently visiting is interfering with my browsing.

You didn't mention what version you're running, btw.

using ASL 7.XX

Yes, both are opened with the smtp proxy. Don't know how I missed that. thanks
