Hello, I would think this would be a common situation, but couldn't find any info on it. Which may also mean that it's simple to do and I'm the only one that couldn't figure it out.
Anyway, we two ASG120s in two offices which are on two separate ISPs and therefore use different SMTP servers. Most ISPs do not allow you to connect to SMTP servers outside their networks, so currently if a user from one office comes to the other office with their laptop, they have to change their SMTP server in Outlook.
What I would like to do is have our ASG intercept SMTP traffic destined for "smtp.someisp.com" and instead of sending out the WAN interface, send it through the VPN to the other ASG and then it could send it out it's WAN interface. The it would be on the correct network for that mail server and our users wouldn't have to change their SMTP server settings every time they visit the other office.
I tried using static route policies, but couldn't get it to work. Is that even the correct thing to do?
