I use Novell's Z.E.N.Works to image my workstations every summer (K-12 school). I have my Astaro box, ASG 7.004, the focal point of my VLANs. There are about 20.
Everything works great, except for the download of the Linux kernel from the server to the client. It's a TFTP download of about 20 Meg. Across a VLAN it takes about 30 minutes to download that, my image is about 2.2 Gig, that takes about 12 Minutes. In the server room (No VLAN crossing) the TFTP download take about 3 minutes. I've got the TFTP connection tracking helper on.
Any thoughts?
