Connection Pooling

Hi guys,

Here's one for you all.

A client of mine is in a pretty rural area & can't get the best DSL speed ever - in fact they're saturating what they have right now (2 meg)

I am building them an Astaro out of a high-spec machine.

If I were then to order a couple more DSL Lines (willing to do) then get these into the Astaro on LAN connections - is there any way of pooling \ bonding them & load balancing across said connections - to create a sitation of say, 4 DSL lines bonded to provide 8 meg of connectivity.

Any ideas?

  • Can't pool / bundle DSL if the provider doesn't support it (and even money says they don't / won't).  You can create policy routes to distribute the load, though.
