Drop list - Spamhaus

Hi,

Just would like to know people's view on adding the Spamhaus Drop List: http://www.spamhaus.org/drop/index.lasso to a group and using it in a drop rule at the top of my packet filter rules? There are approximately 137 entries. Would this be useful or would it hurt the performance of my box?

    It might be useful, but if you are aready using the SBL spamhaus DNS blacklist it won't reduce spam any.

    It certainly won't increase the load any, but it will be a bit of a pain to make sure you keep the list up to date.

    But it will reduce potential attacks from these networks or block access to these.
    So it will be very good to add the listed networks to the pakertfilter.

    I am seaching for a possibility to add the list via command line, because add every network by hand, it will be pain in the ass.

    The best solution would be, that Astaro expand the configuration functionallity of the paket filter section. 
    Like a button to activete the droplist if the admin want to. The ASG will block the networks and update the list automatically.
    Nice solution. Sound like a feature request. :-)
