Need Help Setting Up FIrewall and IPS

I'm new to Astaro. I have Installed ASG V7 for VMware. My setup as follows
1.PC with 1 NIC
2.ASG running on VMware Server with 2 VNIC one of them is Bridged with physical NIC.
3. ADSL Gateway Wireless Router with DHCP enabled,Firewall Disabled.
4.Wireless clients, IP are leased from Router DHCP. ISP transparent proxy
All setup in same network e.g 192.168.2.0/24
My requirement
I want ASG to be facing Internet for IPS and Firewall
Internet - ADSL GW Router - ASG - internal network.
All LAN and Wireless clients should use proxy.
With existing ASG setup no Firewall Rules,by default the packet filter are being processed. Online firewall test it fails for ASG.
How can I eliminate my ADSL router ,instead can I use ASG to connect ISP for PPPoE protocol.
Please help me to setup ASG properly.

Mustash,
I am not sure why you would use VM for what I assume is a home firewall unless you want to learn VMWare.

To get rid of the ADSL router you will need to replace it with an ADSL modem. The ASG only handles the PPPoE part not the modem function.

Thanks for reply. Basically I have setup Astaro Security Gateway v7 on VMware for Home Networking with Wireless Clients. I need to secure my network and force all the Internal network and WLAN PCs to use proxy.
Its confusing me with VMWare as for now default gateway for WLAN pc is my wireless router,I dont want to be in this fashion.
More guideliness needed on how to achive this.
