Can get to www with all packet filters disabled

I've got v7.002.  I disabled every single packet filter and I can still surf the internet.  How can this be?  Is there a delay for this change to be made.  Do I need to reboot or something.  Seems unlikely I'd need to do this.  Everything is plugged in properly: my cable modem to eth1 and eth0 to my hub.  If the astaro computer is turned off, I can't get to the internet, as expected.  This has me baffled, and concerned.

    Do you still have the http proxy enabled?
    It has it's own access rules.

    Yes.  HTTP Proxy is still enabled.

    Yess, that's normal,
    The proxy will take over this function[PF-rule](the proxy has his own rule(automatic))!
    Is this what you want?

    You can use Transparantwithout any changes.
    You can use Standard than you have to make setting changes for your Proxy-settings in your Explorer.
    Or use separate rules [PF]for machines.
    Reed the "On line help" at HTTP settings.....

    I had the same issue.  Are you saying that if you disable HTTP proxt that packet filtering will now work as expected?  Also, if you disable the proxy, can you still peform content filtering?

    I don't know the answers to your questions.  I did find out that HTTP traffic seems to have two paths, either via a packet filter rule or via the HTTP Proxy.  To force all the traffic to go through the HTTP Proxy, I disabled the Web Surfing Packet filter rule.  This seems to have worked fine.  I now have Basic User Authentication enabled in my HTTP Proxy and this is forcing everyone to log in.  I am having trouble getting content filtering to work with HTTP Profiles.
