Hi Board,
I understand it is not quite easy to set an additional ip to a ppoe interface. Now two questions about that:
1. If you do not use a dedicated router which does the ppoe neg., is there actually any possibility to assign an additional ip adress to the ppoe interface anyway?
2. It is possible to just ignore this and just create a nat rule pointing to the additional ip adress (which you created before as a simple definition)? I somehow remember some people talked about this in this forum a year ago but i just can´t find the post anymore.
the very best regards
Joerg
