static routing issue

hi,

i thought that this is a very simple thing but i just can't work out how to get this working:

LAN -- Astaro -- Internet

          |

         DMZ

          |

          |--Server

          |--ISDN-Router---Remote Network

Astaro is default gateway for servers in the DMZ network.
In the DMZ there is also an ISDN-Router connecting to a remote network.

Astaro can reach (=ping) the Servers as well as the ISDN-Router.

I've set up a static route on the Astaro for Remote-Network pointing to the ISDN-Router. That way I hoped that the servers using the Astaro as the default gateway can reach the Remote Network, however that doesn't work.

Neither the Astaro nor the servers are able to ping a host in the remote network. If I add the same static to the servers directly that works fine, so it's definitely not the ISDN link not working.

I've checked all logs and wasn't able to find any hint what the problem is.

Any idea?
