VPN & Joining Domain

I have set up 3 Astaro Firewall/VPN boxes across 3 locations, call them A, B & C. Its all working ok, I can ping IPs, access my exchange server at Location A...everything in that sense is fine.

However, when I am trying to join a domain, i get an error telling me the domain cannot be found. I also cannont ping my domain server by name from B & C, like I can when in location A. Its something to do with the DNS setting I think, but Im not sure where I should be changing this. ie, should I do it on the PC, or is it a setting on the Astaro box?

Usually dealing with joining a domain, you will need to make sure that the primary DNS server on the clients is pointing to a Global Catalog Server of the domain to join it. As long as you can access that from the different remote networks you should be okay.

bruteakbar is correct. Another factor that may help is defining a WINS server on the client and pointing it to the domains WINS server.
