Hi,
I have an ASG120 with three ethernet ports. I have a managed switch with 2 VLANS.
I would like to setup eth0 with 2 VLAN interfaces so both VLANS can communicate between each other and use eth0 as the default gateway.
I would like to setup eth1 with our main SDSL line and define it's default gateway. (In essence using the SDSL as the default route)
I would then like to setup eth2 with our backup SDSL line. (Don't define a gateway address for this interface) however with policy based routing use this line for some traffic (Primarly a couple of hosted Sharepoint sites, ftp) to loadbalance our connection.
1. Would this work?
2. Are there issues with this setup?
3. Can anyone point me in the right direction on how to start setting this up?
4. Would setting up eth0 with 2 VLAN interfaces cause alot of resources to be used on the ASG120?
I am also planing on running HTTP Proxy (Surf, Virus and Spyware protection), SMTP Proxy (Protecting one exchange server from Viruses, Spam and Phishing attacks), IPS, IPSEC SITE to SITE (With another ASG120). Is the ASG120 under powered for this setup?
I appreciate any help you can give me.
Best regards,
Dayne
