just stumbled over it. Got a customer where the POP3 Proxy "stopped" working, internet connection was up, surfing via proxy did work without any trouble.
While checking the box, I found that the complete NAT table was empty. No auto generated nat entries, like the ones from the pop3 proxy, nor the user made entries did exist. And ther was no way to restore them, despite a reboot.
