Nothing works!

Im having trouble with Astaro 6.3.  Nothing I do seems to let network traffic through.  Im just setting it up to be a simple DSL firewall/NAT/Router sans DMZ.  I used to have an Astaro 4 firewall which I used for 2 or so years and never had this kind of problem setting it up.  I added any/any/all to the firewall rules and still every packet gets dropped according to what the live packet monitor is telling me.  The manual is full of information but not really user friendly and hard to read online.  I tried the quick start guide as well and it did not help.

    You will need a rule that allows
    internal address, any (port), allow (permit it to go out), any (destination)

    You will need a simple NAT rule
    MASQ, internal address, external interface

    That will make it happen assuming your external network is up and has an IP address.

    I had all of those settings correct.  It still drops every packet.  I'm trying to update it to see if there is a bugfix.  I can http just fine into it from an external IP.  I just can't make anything else work as it should.  Even an any any all rule doesn't work.
