No default gateway ?!?

I rebooted my ASL and when it came back, I could no longer get out to the Internet from my LAN.  Proxies still worked, but direct access (through NAT) did not.  In trying to figure out what was wrong, I ran the route command and got back the following:

216.231.37.0    0.0.0.0         255.255.255.0   U     0      0        0 eth1

Shouldn't there be a default route?  In the "Interfaces" section of the WebAdmin, the 216.231.37.160 interface has a default gateway shown of 216.231.37.1.  Shouldn't that show up here?

I can't figure out why proxies would work and internal would not.  Watching the packet log, I don't see any NATed packets from the LAN going out OR being blocked.  This is very frustrating since everything was working fine until the reboot.

Any advice?  I've restored from the LKG backup to no avail.  My next step is to reinstall Astaro.

    Typing route from the console doesn't print the default route.

    If you use the webadmin interface, open up the routes section and click on view static routing table, you should see the default route in there.
