I have a fileserver with a UPS attached to it behind the Astaro firewall. To be able to have a clean shutdown of the firewall box I have made some changes to the UPS setup on the firewall so it will monitor the UPS on the fileserver and notices when it starts any shutdown procedures.
In that case the firewall need to "contact" the fileserver through port 3493. Well, what ever I do I am not able to unblock this port. I have made a packet filter opening port 3493, but the live log stills shows that it is being blocket.
Service Definitions:
UPSMON TCP 1:65535 3493
Packet Filter Rules:
Internal (Network) UPSMON ALLOW Any
I have even made an ANY ANY ANY packet filer rule, but even that dosn't seem to help.
Have I missed something in the class? I am still in a learing process regarding the Astaro firewall, so I might be stuck on something trivial.
