is there a way to dedicate bandwith to a single ip

i just got vonage voip and it works great untill i start some of my p2p applications then the person on the other side complains that my vioce gets choppy i was wondering if there was a way to dedicate some bandwith just for the vonage appliance any help would be much appreciated

I have adjusted the priorities in the packet filter. Do I need to change anything else?

How does the SIP proxy work exactly? I'm not familiar.

It allows you to easily configure your firewall for VoIP usage. Although I'm not sure if you can QoS with it.

You have to enable QoS in the connection settings.
Just click on the edit button (Interfaces) and fill in the correct Up-and Downloadsettings for your connection.

Well the problem I see with that is that you can only prioritize Packet Filter entries, not proxies. Although that is only an issue if you are using the SIP proxy. If anyone knows of a way to prioritize proxy traffic please let me know.

I have assumed that the SIP proxy always gets high priority. Is that not the case?
