Jabber and CISCO VPN Client not going through

Hi,

Running ASL Version 5.2.11 (home version)
I have permitted the following ports using service groups and added permit rules to the grp.

For Jabber Client (Version 2.7.7.6) - TCP/5222:5223 and 5269
CISCO VPN Client (4.0.5D) - TCP/10000,UDP/500.
IRC service.

I see these ports green when I try and launch in the live log, but just never seems to make a connection.

I also have another problem..

I have configured http proxy with no anonymity to run in transparatent mode. The clients can't connect to https unless I explicitly put the address 192.168.1.1:80 (which is the ALS box) in the proxy configuration. The other funny thing is if I choose port 8080, that works too. It is as if the http proxy mode is somehow setup to listen both on 80 and 8080 in transparent mode. BTW, I don't have any socks enabled. Port 443 traffic is showing green in the log as well.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you configured masquerading?

I have only enabled a mask to hit my web server from the outside.
Do I need to create masks so that a VPN client and jaber on the internal n/w reach out ?

If so, would you be kind enough to gude me.

Thanks for the direction.. Added a mask for the PC and VPN now works. Should I have to do the sae thing for Jabber as well ?
