Virtual PC & astaro problems

Are their any known issues, problems with running Astaro on a virtual PC or VMWare ? Simple packet rules and proxying works fine for some minutes and after that the dual homed virtual pc with Astaro does not even respond on ping tests, though ICMP rules are permitted. Some users even can not get on the Webadmin. Is there some one along who has the same problems with Astaro working on virtual machines ?

    It's generally not very good to install Astaro in a virtual machine. Why? Astaro was build to run on a dedicated PC and not in a VM. 
    Astaro itself is "safe" but if you run it together with other services with other exploits (e.g. VMware) the security of the whole system can't be guaranteed.
    I have tested V5 with VMware and it worked well, do you use the latest version of VMware?
