how to give client behind firewall an official ip?

hi,

i have a question (again *g*):
how can i manage to give a client behind the astaro an external ip?
i have 2 official ip adresses, and i want to assign one of them to the machine located behind nic3 (my dmz).
is there any way to do this?

i couldn´t figure it out yet...

DNAT/SNAT is one way to do that.

dnat/snat is basically just a kind of "extended portforwarding"...
but i really want to assign the external ip to the machine locates BEHIND the firewall, to save it from malicious threads with astaros routines...
i don´t think, that dnat snat is useful there (or am i wrong?)

Assign the ip to the client and add on asl a static route (host route) for this ip.
