VMware & MAC spoofing

I've installed astaro on my vmware server. and testing from another vmware session from same physical machine.
so I'm getting MAC spoofing error message on live log when I try to test the traffic from vmware workstation via vmware astaro...
any idea how I can DISABLE MAC spooing?

You can also set the MAC address assigned to the VMs (rather than letting VMWare assign them) if you are having problems with duplicates. Go to the VMWare knowlegebase http://www.vmware.com/support/kb/enduser/std_alp.php and search for "MAC Address", you should find answer ID 507 - Changing the MAC Address of a Virtual Machine.

I had the exact same issue. On the VMware server add another NIC. Assign the virtual machine to the new NIC and physically seperate the two cards using two switches. That eliminated our spoofing problem.
