Hello everbody.
I have a question about masquerading when using additional IP addresses on the external NIC.
Setting masquerading rule to use the normal external IP address is not the problem. But how can I configure masquerading for an additional IP address on the external NIC? When configuring a masquerading rule, only the physical interfaces are shown in the drop down list.
Example:
External interface IP: 212.112.78.70
Additional IP-address: 212.112.78.66
When a computer connected to a inner interface is communicating via the external NIC, I want to translate the source address to the additional IP address (212.112.78.66), but ONLY when communicating via the external NIC. Internally the local IP address should be used even if several internal NICs are used.
How can I do that?
I am using v6.102
