How do you stop internal addressing info from

reaching the outside world?

I have MASQ (NAT) and proxies in operation but when I visit some sites they tell me what internal address is. Is there anyway to stop this or is this a failing of internet explorer?

    thank you. It really is a dilemma because some sites require java and/or activex, so you really can't protect yourself fully and surf.

    Hi,

    as far as I remeber the http proxy also tells the server the original request ip address (the internal client ip). You can block this from the anonymity settings of the http proxy, but as everytime, many blinky winky skript sites won't work too good after that. 

    Via Masq, there is no way to determin the internal ip.

    Dont be to afraid, that some sites tell you your magic highly secret internal ip address. For an attacker the knwowlege of the internal address is not of much need anymore.
