blocking from internal

Hi,

A simple question. If i decide to reject ftp from internal to any, will external ftp to internal affected? I am not sure becos i do not know how the destination server return an acknowledgement via which port (is it via 21 again?)

    Blocking FTP from internal to external stops all people internally from using FTP client to access an external FTP server.  It is a separate rule to block or allow external FTP clients to access an FTP server on your internal network.  In Astaro and most firewallsl internal means two way TCP transactions initiated from your internal network, i.e. someone using an FTP client or browser on your internal network.
