How to enable port 8080?

I have an internal server that acts as my web & email server. Prior to installing the firewall (ASL V6) I was able to access the website by typing www.website.com and I accessed the webmail by typing www.website.com:8080/webmail. Now I can only access the website and not the webmail. The only way to access the webmail is by redirecting the dnat/snat to have the http point to port 8080. This dosent solve the problem as then I can't access the website. In the rules squid points to port 8080 and if I enable this rule it does nothing just times out. Can anyone help? [:S]

Do you have the Astaro Proxy turned on (most of the time this is set to port 8080... try turning it off.

I have tried every thing so far and nothing. I just don't understand why I can't use port 80 for web and port 8080 for webmail. I am only able to use one or the other.

Check the packetfilter livelog.

Also, paste screenshots of your DNAT and PF Rules.

It turned out to be the DNAT/SNAT! It works just fine but it has me a little worried. Destination External Address had to be changed to Internal. Is this safe?

That's what you have to do.

It would be better to put it in a DMZ, but you'd still need nat.
