Hi,
just stumbled over some real strange behavior. ASL 6.101
20+ hosts with dyndns IP, defined in the Astaro/Networks via hostnames. Those hosts have to be routed via another gateway, so you have a routing table with 20+ "dynamic" entries.
Now to the fun part. Some of thoses hosts couldn't be resolved via dyndns.org because of line problems with their providers, so in the definitions they where marked as "unresolved". Thats normal and didn't make any trouble before. But now the routing engine goes havoc, changing it table entries every 1/10 of a second (removing inserting removing inserting..... ) and inserting a 0.0.0.0 route via the other gateway. Selfmonitoring goes havoc too, dieing and starting every second. After around 3-5 minutes the hole system stopps responding, no kernal panic, local shell is accessable, system processor is around 80% busy, ipsec dies too.
Removing the unresolved hosts from the definitions and routing, the system runs normal again, after a reboot.
