Which IP is used for Up2date?

I want to define a policy route for the up2date service to use an alternate internet access gateway. Tried to create policy routes based on destination, but they don't work.

Who can tell me, which internal IP address is used by Astaro for the up2date service?

As far as I can see it is the external interface address.

Thanks for this short-dated response. But: What makes an interface "external"? We have three interfaces with "external" (Internet) connections behind (one with a default gateway) and i would like to use one specific for the up2date service.

We are using the Astaro Security Gateway 220 with version 6.001.

OK, it's solved. The up2date service uses the interface with a default gateway configured.
