I have to block a large number of IP networks

Why?

I must do it to comply with a law.

If this a law in your country why isn't the ISP blocking them?

If it is a law covering your line of business, then I can't help within Astaro firewall configuration, sorry.

No, the ISP is not blocking them.  Why?  It is just a technical question that might benefit others in the future for any number of reasons.

Does anyone at Astaro know the answer?

You might be able to add them to iptables.local

Search these forums for messages about that... it's a couple years back.

Thank you.  Exactly what I was looking for.  Also, if anyone ever has to do this there is a good article in the November 2005 issue of sysadmin and it referes to a very nice site http://ip.ludost.net.  You put in the country and it spits out iptables code.  I'll let you know if it works with Astaro.
