Bittorrent. Please help.

I have tried and tried to get this to work, and I am failing.  I have astaro 6.1, doing NAT and firewall for my lan.  Could someone tell me EXACTLY what I need to do to get bittorrent to work for a computer on my lan?

    Watching with interest. I have tried and got to the stage where the torrent downloads and uploads, but won't communicate with swarm. I have tried opening incoming ports, I have tried adding NAT rules, but the torrent still doesn't work properly, keeps telling me I have NAT errors.

    Problem seems to be I can't get a port open to my linux box or so the torrent thinks, the firewall thinks it is open.
