External DNS Server

Hello together,

I'm working with AST Ver.6.1. 

I have an internal net and an external net. I can ping from the internal net each client of the external net. The external net is the net of my company and after follows the internet. 

The problem is I can't ping the clients with their dns names in the external net. I have two dns servers in the external net. Where can I put the adresses of the dns server?

I tried to set up a dns proxy and I gave my notebook client in the internal net the ip of the AST.  I noticed when I access the external net (Local net of the company) directly with the notebook client without AST between that when I change back to the situation before I can ping the dns names until I make a flushdns. I need help.

    Maybe you have to configure your DNS-Suffix on the client? On Windows that can be done in the advanced tcp/ip configurations.
    Or just try to ping the Full Qualified Domain Name instead of only the hostname.
    Instead of "myhost" try "myhost.mydomain.com".

    I tried already pinging the full name and it doesn't work. The problem is I have a WLAN Router  who is configured to DHCP. Thats easier for the user after, when he is at office, he has only to enable the wireless.

    I uploaded a file in my first post. There is a picture of the situation.
