port 443

when i try to view port 443 websites, it times out.  I have a packet filter rule that allows any from the internal network to any destination. When i look at the pacet log it shows the 443 request going out from my internal network, but the return packet from the web server to the external ip (this is masquraded) is droped, i've tried added a packet filter rule to allow 443 to the external ip, and this alleviates the droped packets but the resault is the same the web site never comes up.

Any Ideas?

    When you say 443, are you using Astaro's HTTPS service definition?

    Is the web proxy turned off?

    When you access the sites, are you using a url like https://...? Or are you using http://...:443??

    I was using the service definition, and it was logging the packet as accepted it would just never show up at the computer.  i did have the http proxy on, and was turning it off and not seeing a difference, but if i turned the proxy off and then rebooted, everything seems to work fine again, its either just my install, or the 6.004 version http proxy dosn't seem to really turn off untill you reboot.  weird.
