Block IP

How do i block an ip or a group of ip's altogether. i dont want any access to or from these. i would like to be able to make a group that i can list as blocked. then add and take away from this group as needed. i know its a noob question but can someone point me in the right direction at least? the manual and this board are more than a little confusing.

    Create a Network Definition for each IP or Network.
    Create a Network Group, and add all the networks to it.

    Create a packet filter rule (at the top) which DROPs all traffic from that group.
