V6 QOS not working

I have to admit, I like v6.  It is much more polished than v5.  However, the QOS which is brought over from V5 does not work.  Now I ran v5 on a p-350 and QOS did not work but in v4 it did.  I now have a new machine(see sig) and I ran v4 on it for months and QOS worked perfectly.  I am running v6 now with the imported config from v4-5 and QOS does not work..[:(]  The exact setup under v4 works perfectly.  I have posted about this ad nauseum and am still baffled as to what is wrong.  I have not heard from astaro on this issue either.  This is three versions of Astaro across two totally differnt machines.  The issue is not here since v4 works perfectly.  Is there anything anyone can think of?  I have two hdd's right now, one for v4 and one for v6.  I can swap them out relatively easily.  I will keep v6 on the 20 gig to test any suggestions folks/Astaro come up with but am moving the v4 hdd back in in a bit..I need working QOS.

    That's too bad.

    I have been tempted to upgrade my ASL 4 setup to a newer version for some time now, but I too require a reliable QoS capability, since my ADSL link often runs flat out, and I use roadwarrior VPN connections a lot.

    I have to say the reason I left and went to clark connect was the fact that noone from astaro would even comment on this problem.  Maybe I was configuring QoS wrong, or there was a bug in the implementation, but there was nothing but silence.  So I assumed nothing was going to change and I needed to find another solution.

    It's too bad, because ASL is the best of breed except for this issue.

    Here is my attempt to get QOS to work.  I moved everything to low priority except my counter-strike server.  Then i did an ssh outbound transfer.  NO luck..ssh hogged everything and the cs server was unplayable.
