This weekend we upgrade our firewall to version V6.001. Now, we're using the transparent firewall feature. Our campus network includes four C classes, and the transparent firewall filters aprox 25 machines. Some users tell me that when they try to access the webserver (That is behind the ASL machine), the page can't load. The press the reload button in the navigator, and the page loads normally.
I think that it can be a problem with ARP resolution. It's too strange that fails the first time, and the second runs without any problem.
¿Anyone with the same problem? I think that is an ARP problem because we have few months ago a similar problem, with very similar feedback from our users, and the problem comes from ARP resolution.
