This has been discussed many a times but after installing the update above I still have problems with our FTP.
Currently the settings are:
packet filter;
Source Service Destination
Any FTP -> Internal network
Any FTP_control -> Internal network
The D_NAT rules are:
Parameters SRC Translation DST/Translation
All -> External / FTP_control None Server / FTP-CONTROL
All -> External / FTP None Server / FTP
I use Win2k, IIS 5.0 as a FTP server, it might not be the perfect solution for FTP, but we just need a basic ftp solution.
The FTP server cannot be reached from the internet, on our intranet everything seems to be okay. Can somebody tell me what I'm missing?
BTW, I use the standard port (21). The services FTP & FTP_control both use port 21, can anyone tell me what the difference is?
