5.202 with PPPOE gets slow when traffic over Link

Hi,
we have several Astaro 5.202 which have a big problem with PPPoE dialin. Everything worked nice for over one year now.
Since Monday we have a big problem: When starting a larger download from inside the astaro gets slow on WAN interface connected to DSL. When pinging the WAN interface from external without traffic, teh response time is about 20ms. When then starting a download from internal the ping times rise to 500 to 1500 ms on the wan interface, the lan interface has still 1ms ping time from internal. THe download speed falls from 200kbit to 8kbit. When stopping the download the ping times come back to 20ms. I changed the MTU to 1472 without any change. I have this problem with 4 different Astaros, Aplliances 120 and software versions installed on PC celeron.
2400. The reporting on the astaro shows no high usage, nor on cpu nor on ram or wan interface.
Any Ideas ?

i have realized a same problem at a office.
if you are at german telekom, call them and tell them to reset your port.

ping isn't a performance criterion since ICMP is mostly handled with lower priority than TCP.
