I'm testing this firewall as a replacement for some others. Here's what I have:
1 Astaro firewall - ip address 1.1.1.1
1 (other brand) VPN Firewall Gateway - ip address 1.1.1.5
I have another network 192.168.1.0 that is VPN bridged to 1.1.1.5 firewall.
When I setup my pc to use the 1.1.1.1 firewall as my default gateway, I can't get to the 192.168.1.x subnet. So on the Astaro firewall, I added 192.168 subnet to my definitions and then added a static route to it, routing the local "network" to the remote "network". I even added a packet filter rule to allow all trafic to flow between both subnets, still no go. The regular internet works fine so I know traffic is flowing through the Astaro firewall properly. I've searched teh tech support notes and manuals and can't seem to figure this out. Thanks for your help. I have another client I want to sell the firewall to and they have a similar setup. I'm reluctant to attempt to sell to them until I resolve this issue in our test environment.
Thanks.
