Heres the situation.
ALS5.102 with 4 nics
eth0 internal 192.168.0.0/24
eth1 not used/down
eth2 ADSL-1 212.xxx.xxx.xxx (default GW)
eth3 ADSL-2 currently 10.0.0.5/8
From ASL I can ping 10.0.0.2 but from the internal network I can't. I am using PPTP (90.0.0.0/24) to VNC a machine in the internal network. I can see the router IP of the ADSL-1 connection and can connect to it with a browser. I need to connect to the ADSL-2 router to reconfigure it. The ARP cache shows 10.0.0.2. It just looks like the route is not working although it shows in the route table.
I have tried using proxy ARP but I am not completely sure which interface I need to put it on.
Anyone got any clues? If you need more info let me know. I am about 150miles from the office which is in the center of London so I really do not want to go there if I can help it.
