Additional address on External DSL(PPPoE-DSL)

Hallo Astaro user,
i get the message "You cannot set up an interface of this type on the selected hardware, since it requirs a primary interface type (Standard or VLAN) on the same hardware." if i define an Additional address on External DSL(PPPoE-DSL). Why don't work the additional address on external interface(PPPoE-DSL)? Will this feature work in future updates (with PPPoE-DSL)? I think its orderly to define packet filter rules between lan, DMZ and external with an additional address on external interface.

    Think about it once again  ... ;-)

    1) PPPoE ist an Point to Point Protocol and not Point to Multipoint Protocol. Additional ip's would your isp route automatically over the default gateway off your pppoe-Interface to you. The keyword is "framed-route".

    2) Packetfilterrules are defined between ip's and not between interfaces.
