ASL 5.100
- I have a primary link dsl.
- I have a dial up (ppp over serial (common old dialup 56K)) that I would like to use for backup when DSL int is down.
Dial up configuration is working ok.
My question is:
We can define interface DSL as primary and Interface ppp as backup. Can I expect backup interface to be brought up automaticaly (really dialing) when primary is down?
How does ASL can dial when push manually the button from red to green and that when ASL sees primary down (it sees it from the Log uplinkfailover) it is unable to bring up the PPP interface?
Any feedback on this is welcomed.
